As everyone now knows, the weather this spring was anything but normal so we had a cold overcast evening with the odd fish rising way out in the middle of the lakes.
However, the seven of us managed three fish between us in the excellent surroundings of this spring fed fishery. We were greeted with home made cake and tea or coffee in the excellent club house before disinfecting our nets and setting off for the lakes. Despite the few fish, I am sure we will return next year, hopefully to better weather and an evening rise.
