The Branch runs its own Fishery on a complex of four small lakes. Membership is open to any branch member and there is an option of the types of membership. The new committee has carefully considered the costs of membership for 2012 and have decided that the following will be the levels:
Full rod (maximum 2 fish to be taken in any 7 day period) - £340 (reduced to £290 if paid by 31 January 2011 or within one month of being accepted as a member) Double rod (maximum 4 fish to be taken in any 7 day period) - £600 (reduced to £550 if paid before 31January 2010 or within one month of being accepted as a member) Country rod (maximum 4 fish to be taken in any 28 day period) - £170 Catch and release is now permitted at all times provided the fish is undamaged and is seen to recover when returned to the water in accordance with the rules of the fishery but is MANDATORY for all brown trout and any rainbow trout over 3lb in weight (or 20” in length). Work parties will be planned for March/April to tidy up the fishery and it is hoped that as many members as possible will participate. To apply for membership or with any questions, please call Tony Prosser on 07903 455 551 or John Butler on 07976 900 251 or email TheFishery@sta-surrey.org . We hope to see YOU there in 2011!
